I had a photo session for a family whose daughters were getting baptized. They wanted photos taken to use for announcements. We had nice mild weather for their session. As we were leaving, the oldest daughter pointed to something in the lake. Her mother and I thought she was pointing to a fish or turtle but she was talking about the reflection in the water. It seems that there were two airplane contrails in the sky which made the reflection of a beautiful cross in the lake. I took several photos and used it as a background for their announcements. A retired pilot stated that it is rare and unusual to see airplane contrails cross in the sky at the same time. One plane would have to be atleast 1000 feet above the other and then there are temperature factors in order to create the contrails. What a beautiful gift from God.
